||Congratulations McDonell Volleyball
On behalf of the McDonell Athletic Booster Club, Thank you for your support of the “Spirit of the MACKS” event on Saturday evening. We had record attendance! While the finances aren’t quite complete it’s safe to say this was our biggest year ever!
An event like this wouldn’t be possible without the help of many. As we step down as Auction Co-Chairs we would like to say THANK YOU!
- THANK YOU to everyone who donated an item or service, food, beverage or cash! Without that donation this event isn’t possible!
- THANK YOU to the all the workers! Those who called for and picked up donations, those who set up on Friday and Saturday, all the shift workers on Saturday Night and the cleanup crew! You are appreciated!
- THANK YOU to everyone who bought or “won” items. Your support and generosity for McDonell is remarkable!
- Finally, THANK YOU to the Auction Planning Committee. Your hard work and dedication from year to year has been awesome!
The”Spirit”of the MACS is alive and well as witnessed by the generosity shown on Saturday night. We are confident that same “Spirit” will be evident in 2015 under new leadership.
We look forward to attending!

Named Head Hockey Coach
Friday, July 25, 2014, Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls, WI: McDonell Central High School and Regis High School hired James Knutson to be the RMB Saints Hockey Coach.
Coach James Knutson grew up in Catholic schools, with many of his family members involved and passionate about Catholic education. Hockey was one of the many sports James grew up playing and began officiating Hockey in 2002 for his local youth hockey group. He has experience coaching Hockey and Football, and shared his general philosophy about coaching, "The best teams center around trust and mutual passion for the game. Additionally, our Catholic values teach us that we all need to be successful both on and off the ice. Developing kids of character is just as important as developing strong Hockey players."
